Timberlane
Furniture & Design is a design-based furniture and homewares
store, specialising in Australian timber solid wood and distinctive
veneered furniture.
Timberlane stocks all types of furniture including dining
tables, bedside tables, wine racks, bookcases, entertainment
units and hall stands. Individually designed, custom made
pieces can also be made to order.
Furniture Designer-Maker, Clive Robinson graduated from RMIT
Furniture Design and has won the Excellence Award from the
Timber Promotion Council of Victoria.
Timberlane is located in what was originally an 1850's chemist
shop, opposite the Kyneton museum. Kyneton is one-hour northwest
of Melbourne along the Calder Freeway. First settled in the
1830's Kyneton has one of the strongest collections of bluestone
architecture and is also known for its farming heritage and
mineral springs.
The bluestone paved footpaths and historic buildings of Piper
Street give visitors a chance to explore antique shops, bookstores,
coffee shops, gift stores and hotels housed in some of the
original buildings. A fresh produce farmers market is held
in Piper Street once a month. Many other attractions are located
nearby including wineries, Black Hill nature reserve and the
Kyneton botanical gardens, which contain many National Trust
listed trees. |
